February 14th

In the first decade of the 19th century commercial cards were readily available. The popularity of postcards printed in bulk was also growing. They were put up in shops in themed displays.
Valentine’s Day is a tradition that usually includes the gift of candy or chocolate, as well the gift of a card and flowers. You could also choose to gift them with jewelry.

Groundhog Day is celebrated annually on February 2. It is also celebrated in Canada however it’s an American Thanksgiving.

Groundhogs are part of Sciuridae which is a small group of hairy mammals. It is hibernates in winter. Groundhog Day is a common day on which they are seen peering out from their burrows.
Christmas Day
Presidents Daylight that falls on the third Monday of February, is regarded as an official holiday of the United States. It pays tribute to past American presidents. Presidents’ Day is typically a day of celebration to honor Lincoln and Washington.
Despite being an official holiday of the United States but not every state observes it. Although some states honor both the presidents birthdays on the same day, other states only recognize one. The Presidents’ Day holiday is widely recognized as an opportunity to recognize all U.S. presidentials, particularly Lincoln.
Presidents Day has had a tangled past. Washington’s Birthday was the first title of the celebration.
Washington’s birthday is an incredibly well-known and not officially recognized holiday, as well as Washington’s Day. It was recognized as a national holiday by Congress in the latter 1870s. The Uniform Monday Holiday Act was passed by Congress.
Meteors and storms

Roman holiday celebrations in antiquity
The Lupercalia was a well-known festival in ancient Rome. In the middle of February, a fertility and cleansing ceremony was held. Priests offered animal sacrifices at the altar for the Lapis Nuiger during the ceremony. The hearth was filled with the blood of the animal. The belief was that this would benefit the crop by increasing fertility and protecting the plants from harm.
Ludi Ceriales, another celebration was dedicated to Ceres. Ludi Ceriales celebrations can be traced back to the year 202 BC.
Neptunalia was one of the more popular Roman festivities. They were initially held in honor of Mars god of war.Vestalia According to some experts was the most popular of the three.
Roman workweeks lasted eight days. There were two periods to each day: morning and afternoon. Nundins were collections of eight days. the other 29 days comprised the remainder of the year.
