February 14th
Valentine’s Day celebrates love and passion every February 14. It is believed to date to the Middle Ages, when love was more popular than courtly and sacramental.
It was considered to be the celebration of friendship between romantically engaged acquaintances from the 14th century. It was common to give Valentine’s Day flowers, cards and other gifts to one another.
Commercial cards were made available in the first quarter of the nineteenth century. The popularity of postcards that were printed in bulk also grew. These postcards were also well-liked in shops since they were able to be displayed with themes.
Purchasing your special someone an item of chocolate or candy, along with flowers or a card is a typical Valentine’s Day tradition. You could also choose to present them with jewellery.

Groundhog Day occurs annually on February 2. It is also celebrated in Canada but it is American Thanksgiving.

The custom got its start when scientists discovered an animal that was hibernating during winter. The plan was to forecast the following six weeks of the season by observing how the animals responded to the conditions.
Groundhogs belong to of the Sciuridae family of tiny, hairy mammals. It hibernates throughout the winter months. On the morning of Groundhog Day, they are often seen looking out of their burrows.
Christmas Day
The third Monday in February is known as Presidents’ Daylight. It is recognized as a national holiday. It pays tribute to the previous American presidents. It is a holiday that is dedicated to both Lincoln, Washington, and it has been Presidents Day since the beginning of its existence.
Although it’s a federal holiday However, many states don’t observe it. Some states honor both presidents simultaneously, while some only honor one president. However, Presidents’ Day is widely regarded as a day to honor all U.S. presidentials, particularly Lincoln.
Presidents Day has had a tangled history. Washington’s Birthday was the original name for the holiday and is now known as Presidents’ Day.

Meteors hurling storms

Neptunalia and Saturnalia were some other well-known Roman festivals that were well-known in the Roman world. These celebrations were initially held in honor of Mars the god of war.
