The history of Presidents’ Day is complicated. Washington’s Birthday was the first name given to the celebration. Today, it’s known as Presidents Day.

Meteor storms

The grain fields were thought to be protected and fertility.

Neptunalia, Saturnalia, Vestalia were only a few of the well-known Roman celebrations. They were held originally to honor Mars god of war.Vestalia, according to some academics was the most popular among the three.
