Groundhogs are part of Sciuridae, a small family of mammals that have hair. They hibernate throughout winter. The morning of Groundhog Day, they are often visible peeking out of burrows.
Christmas Day
The third Monday of February is Presidents’ Daylight. It is considered a national holiday. It pays tribute to the previous American presidents. Presidents’ Day is typically a day of celebration to honor Lincoln as well as Washington.
