February 14th

Valentine’s Day (February 14th) is a day to celebrate love and passion. It is celebrated each year. It is believed to date to as early as the Middle Ages, when love was more common than sacramental and courtly.

When scientists discovered that mice hibernate in winter, they set the foundation for this custom. The initial idea was to predict six weeks of each season by studying how animals responded to climate.

But, Presidents’ Day is now widely recognized as a means of honoring the achievements of all U.S. Presidents, especially Lincoln.

There’s a rich history behind Presidents Day. The Washington’s Birthday was the first title of the holiday that is now referred to as Presidents’ Day.

The most well-known holiday in the United States was the birthday of Washington, which is often referred to as Washington’s Day. In the 1870s, however, it became an official holiday recognized by the federal government. The Uniform Monday Holiday Act was enacted by Congress.

Meteor storms

Each year, Earth rotates around its sun. Small meteors are released into the atmosphere. They are visible almost everywhere in the skies. Some showers are more spectacular than others. The best time to view.

Perseids is one of most spectacular and stunning meteor showers in 2018. This is due to the fact that the comet 109P/Swift Tuttle was the cause. Roman holidays from antiquity

Roman workweeks were 8 days long. There were two periods to every day: the morning and the afternoon. Nundins were collections of eight days, and the other 29 days made up the rest of the year.
