February 14th
Valentine’s Day (February 14th) is a day that celebrates love and passion. It is celebrated every year. The Middle Ages were a time where love was a common occurrence and the sacraments were more popular.
It was a holiday which honored the love between romantic partners as well as close friends during the 14th century. Valentine’s Day was the day to send one another gifts, flowers, and cards.
Commercial cards were introduced by the early nineteenth century. The popularity of postcards that were printed in bulk was also increasing. They were put up in shops as displays with themes.
Giving your loved one an item of chocolate or candy, along with a card or flower is a typical Valentine’s Day tradition. You might even choose to give them jewelry.

Groundhog Day, which is observed on February 2 every year, is an annual holiday. It’s also popular in Canada but it is American Thanksgiving.
The idea for this celebration came from a belief system that was popular in the minds of Pennsylvanians who spoke Dutch. The tradition of forecasting the weather was brought in the United States by German immigrants. Punxsutawney Phil is a Pennsylvania groundhog who makes forecasts for the rest of winter.
When scientists discovered that mice hibernate in winter, they set the basis for this practice. The original plan was to predict the duration of the seasons by watching how animals responded to the weather.
Groundhogs form part of the Sciuridae family of small, hairy mammals. It is hibernates through the winter months. Groundhog Day is the most regular day they can be seen looking out of their burrows.
Christmas Day
Presidents Daylight (third Monday in February) is a holiday that is celebrated across the nation. It is a way to honor the past presidents of America. In the past, Presidents Day has been a time to honor both Lincoln and Washington.
While it is a federal holiday, many states do not observe it. Some states honor both presidents at the same time, while other states only honor one. Presidents’ Day, however, is now widely celebrated as a time to honor every one of the U.S. presidents, especially Lincoln.
There is a long and complicated story behind Presidents Day. Washington’s Birthday was the name used for the celebration. Today, it’s known as Presidents Day.

Storms of Meteors
Each year, the Earth crosses its orbit around the sun, creating tiny meteors to be released into space. They can be observed everywhere in the sky. Some showers are more stunning than others. It is generally ideal to see the showers at night.

The Lupercalia is one of the most well-known holidays of the past of Rome. A fertility and cleansing ceremony was held in February. It was believed that the hearth would offer fertile soil and protect the fields of grain.
Ludi Ceriales is another celebration that was held in honor Ceres the goddess of harvest. Ludi Ceriales celebrations were first recorded in the year 202 BC.
