Neptunalia, Saturnalia, Vestalia were just a few of the well-known Roman celebrations. The celebrations were originally celebrated to honor Mars the god of war.

Roman workweeks ran for eight days. Each day was divided into two parts: the morning and afternoon. Nundin was an eight-day collection, the rest of the year being made up of 29 days.
