February 14th

Presidents Daylight is observed on the third Monday in February, is regarded as an official holiday of the United States. The holiday honors the past American presidents. It is a day which celebrates both Lincoln, Washington, and it has been Presidents Since the day it was first introduced.
Although it is a federal holiday however, not all states observe the holiday in all states. Certain states observe both birthdays of the presidents on the exact day, while some states only honor one. Presidents Day is now generally recognized as a chance to honor every one of the U.S. presidents, especially Lincoln.
There is a long and complicated story behind Presidents Day. Washington’s Birthday was the first name given to the holiday. It is now also known as Presidents Day.
Washington’s birthday, more commonly known as Washington’s Day is a well-known non-official holiday. It was declared an official federal holiday in the late 1870s. As a result, Congress approved the Uniform Monday Holiday Act.
Meteors and storms

Roman holidays that date back to antiquity
The Lupercalia festival was extremely well-known in the ancient city of Rome. The month of February was when a fertility-cleansing ceremony was held. Priests offered sacrifices to animals at an altar close to the Lapis Niger in the ceremony. The hearth was filled up with the blood of the animal. The belief was that this would benefit crop by increasing fertility and securing the plants from harm.
Ludi Ceriales is another celebration that was celebrated in honor of Ceres the goddess of harvest. Ludi Ceriales celebrations date back to 202 BC.
Neptunalia was one of the most well-known Roman celebrations. These celebrations were originally intended to honor Mars, the god war.
Roman working weeks lasted for eight days. There were two portions to each day: morning and the afternoon. Nundin was an 8-day collection, with the remainder of the year made up of 29 days.
