Although it’s a federal holiday , not all states observe it. Some states recognize the presidents of both countries, while others are only allowed to recognize one president. The Presidents’ Day holiday is now widely accepted as a way to recognize all U.S. Presidents, especially Lincoln.
It has had a complicated background. Washington’s Birthday was the original title of the holiday. Today the Presidents’ Day holiday is the official title.
Washington’s birthday, also called Washington’s Day is a well-known unofficial holiday. In the late 1870s, it became a national holiday. Congress adopted the Uniform Monday Day Holiday Act.
Storms of Meteors
Every year, the Earth crosses its circle around the sun which causes a torrent of small meteors to explode into space. They are visible from anywhere in the sky. Certain showers are more spectacular than others. It is usually the nighttime time for watching.

Roman holidays dating to antiquity

Neptunalia was among the other well-known Roman festivities. These celebrations were originally intended to pay tribute to Mars and the god of war.
Roman workweeks took eight days. There were two phases of each day: morning and afternoon. A nundin was a collection of eight days. The remaining 29 days comprised the remainder of the year.
