Other well-known Roman festivities include Neptunalia, Saturnalia and Vestalia. These celebrations were originally meant to celebrate Mars the god of War.

Roman working weeks lasted for eight days. Every day consisted of two parts: the morning, and afternoon. A nundin was 8 days long, and the remaining 29 days were called the rest.
