February 14th

It was seen as an occasion to celebrate romance between romantic partners and friends in the 14th century. In the 14th century, on Valentine’s Day, it was customary to send flowers, cards and presents to one another.
In the beginning of the 19th century commercial cards were made readily available. The demand for postcards printed in bulk was also increasing. These cards were then displayed in shops in themed displays.
Valentine’s Day is a tradition which includes the gift of candy or chocolate along with a card and flowers. You could also choose to present them with jewelry.

Groundhog Day, which is observed every February 2, is an annual holiday. Groundhog Day is observed annually in Canada on February 2.
This celebration was born of the belief in superstition of Pennsylvanians as well as Dutch people. However, the custom of making predictions about weather conditions was introduced to the United States with German immigration. Punxsutawney Phil, a groundhog from Pennsylvania, makes meteorological predictions throughout the winter.
This custom was born out of the discovery of scientists by discovering that mice hibernate in winter. The idea was to predict the next six weeks of the season using observations about how the animals responded.
Groundhogs are part of the Sciuridae tribe of small hairy mammals. In winter, their main purpose is to go into hibernation. Groundhog Day is a common time when they can be looking out from their burrows.

The third Monday of February is known as Presidents’ Daylight. It is considered a national holiday. It is a day to honor former American presidents. Presidents’ Day has historically been a day to celebrate both Washington and Lincoln.
Although it’s an official holiday, not every state observes this holiday. Some states celebrate both presidents simultaneously, while other states only honor one. Presidents Day is now widely recognized as a chance to celebrate all U.S. presidents, especially Lincoln.
It has had a complex background. Washington’s Birthday was the first name for this holiday.
Washington’s birthday, often referred to by the title Washington’s Day was a well-known non-official holiday. However, in the 1870s it became a federally recognized holiday. This led to Congress passed the Uniform Monday Holiday Act.
Meteor storms
Every year, the Earth is orbiting in the solar system. This triggers a rush of tiny meteors to be released into space. In the sky, they can be seen everywhere. Some showers are more stunning than others. Nighttime is the best time of day to observe.
