The Sciuridae family of small hairy mammals also includes groundhogs. In winter, their main job is to stay in hibernation. Groundhog Day mornings are a great time to spot the animals peering out of their burrows.

The third Monday of February is the Presidents’ Daylight. It is considered a national holiday. It is a day to honor former American presidents. Presidents’ Day has historically been a day to honor both Washington and Lincoln.
It is a federal holiday which not all states observe despite being one. Although some states honor both the presidents birthdays on the same day however, some states only recognize only one. The Presidents Day is now an opportunity to remember the all U.S. presidents, including Lincoln.
The history of the Presidents’ Day holiday is complex. Washington’s Birthday was the first title of the celebration.
Washington’s birthday is an incredibly well-known and unofficial holiday, also known as Washington’s Day. It became a federal holiday in late 1870s. This led to Congress adopted the Uniform Monday Holiday Act.
