Groundhogs form part of the Sciuridae family of small, hairy mammals. It hibernates throughout the winter months. Groundhog Day’s morning, they are often visible peeking out of burrows.

Presidents Daylight (third Monday in February) is a national holiday. It is an honor to all former American presidents. In the past, Presidents Day served as a day to honor both Lincoln and Washington.
