The Sciuridae family of tiny hairy mammals also includes groundhogs. It is hibernates in the winter. Groundhog Day’s morning is when they can be visible peeking out of burrows.

Presidents Daylight (third Monday of February) is a holiday that is celebrated across the nation. It is a way to honor the past presidents of America. The Presidents Day holiday has served as a day of honor for both Lincoln and Washington.
It is a federal holiday that is not observed by all states even though it is one. Certain states honor both presidents simultaneously, while other states only honor one. But, Presidents’ Day is now widely recognized as a means of honoring all U.S. Presidents, especially Lincoln.
The history of Presidents’ Day is complex. The Washington’s Birthday was the first name of the celebration. Today, Presidents’ day is the official title.
The most well-known holiday in the United States was the birthday of Washington, which is often called Washington’s Day. However, in the 1870s it became a federally recognized holiday. The Uniform Monday Holiday Act was passed by Congress.
Meteor storms
Every year, Earth rotates around its sun. Small meteors are released into the atmosphere. In the sky, they can appear all over the sky. Some showers are more impressive then others. The best time to view them is at night.
One of the biggest and most spectacular meteor showers of the year is the Perseids. It is because Comet 109P/Swift Tuttle was the cause. Although it is visible in the Northern Hemisphere because of its massive fireballs however, the Southern Hemisphere also has the highest visibility.
Each year , there are four important meteor showers. One of the most famous meteor showers is called the Quadrantid. It is famous for its small but extremely powerful peak. Another is the Lyrid. It’s famous for the odd surges it produces. The Geminid is also known for its likable appearance.
Roman holiday celebrations in antiquity
The Lupercalia is among the most well-known holidays of ancient Rome. A cleansing and fertility ceremony was held in February. Priests offered animal sacrifices at an altar next to the Lapis Niger during the rite. The animal’s blood was dumped in the hearth. The belief was that it would be beneficial for the fertility and protection of the fields of grain.
Ludi Ceriales was another celebration to honor Ceres, the harvest goddess. Ludi Ceriales celebrations were first documented in 202 BC.
Neptunalia was one of the other well-known Roman celebrations. These celebrations were initially held to honor Mars the god of war.
Roman working weeks lasted for eight days. There were two parts to every day: the morning and afternoon. A nundin was an eight-day collection, the rest of the year made up of 29 days.
