The third Monday in February is known as Presidents’ Daylight. It is an official holiday for the United States of America. It’s a tribute to all previous American presidents. It has been a day to honour both Lincoln and Washington.
Although it is a federal holiday however, not all states observe it. Some states honor both presidents at the same time, while other states only honor one. The Presidents Day holiday is a day to honor the all U.S. presidents, including Lincoln.
Presidents’ Day has a convoluted history. Washington’s Birthday was originally the name of the event. The day is now known as Presidents’ Day.
