February 14th

It was considered a celebration which honored romance between romantic partners and close friends during the 14th century. Valentine’s Day is a time when you send Valentine’s Day gifts and flowers.
In the early years of the nineteenth century, commercial cards were accessible. The demand for postcards printed in bulk was also increasing. These cards were a hit in stores as themed displays.
Valentine’s Day is traditionally marked by giving your loved one an item of candy or chocolate as well as flowers or a card. It is also possible to present them with jewelry.

The idea for this custom was born out of the discovery of scientists by discovering that mouse hibernates during winter. The goal was to predict the next six weeks of winter by studying how the animals responded to the weather.
The Sciuridae family of tiny hairy mammals also includes groundhogs. In winter, their primary function is to hibernate. Groundhog Day mornings are a great time to spot they are peering out of their burrows.
Christmas Day
Presidents Daylight (third Monday in February) is a holiday that is celebrated across the nation. It is an honor to all past American presidents. Presidents’ Day is usually a day dedicated to Lincoln and Washington.
While it’s an official holiday, several states do not observe it. Some states honor the birthdays of both presidents at the same time, but some states only recognize one. The Presidents Day is now an opportunity to remember the all U.S. presidents, including Lincoln.
There is a long and complicated story of Presidents Day. Washington’s Birthday was originally the name of the event. Today, it is Presidents Day.
Washington’s birthday, more commonly known as Washington’s Day is a well-known unofficial holiday. It was made a federal holiday in late 1870s. In reaction, Congress passed Uniform Monday Holiday Law.
Storms of meteors
Every year, Earth moves around the sun. Every year, tiny meteors fall into space. In the sky, they can appear all over the sky. Some showers are more stunning than others. It is at night that is the most ideal moment to see them.
Perseids is one of most beautiful and impressive meteor showers of 2018. It is probable that Comet 109P/Swift Tuttle is responsible. While it is not seen from the Northern Hemisphere due to the huge fireballs observed within the Southern Hemisphere, it is worth watching from there.
There are four major meteor Showers each year. One of them is Quadrantid. Its short , but powerful maximum is what is the most well-known. Another is the Lyrid. It is famous for its odd surges. The Geminid is also famous for its pleasant appearance.
Roman holidays from antiquity
The Lupercalia festival was extremely well-known in the ancient city of Rome. A fertility and cleansing ceremony was held during February in the middle. During the ceremony, priests offered animal sacrifices to an altar near the Lapis Niiger. The hearth was cleaned of the animal’s blood. The belief was that this would benefit grains by ensuring their fertility and securing the plants from harm.
Ludi Ceriales was another celebration to pay tribute to Ceres (the harvest goddess). Since 202 BC, Ludi Ceriales celebrations were recorded.
Other well-known Roman festivities include Neptunalia, Saturnalia and Vestalia. They were held originally to honor Mars god of war.Vestalia According to certain academics, was the most well-liked of the three.
