Other popular Roman festivities are Neptunalia, Saturnalia and Vestalia. These were originally celebrated to honor Mars the god of war.

Roman workweeks ran for eight days. Each day had two parts: the morning, and afternoon. A nundin was a collection of eight days. the other 29 days made up the rest of the year.
