The third Monday of February is the Presidents’ Daylight. It is recognized as a national holiday. It honors past American presidents. Presidents’ Day has historically served as a day to pay tribute to both Washington and Lincoln.
Despite being an official holiday of the United States, not all states observe the holiday in all states. Some states honor both presidents simultaneously, whereas some only honor one president. Presidents Day has become a day to honor the all U.S. presidents, including Lincoln.
Presidents’ Day has a convoluted past. Washington’s Birthday was the original name of the event. Today, it is Presidents’ Day.
Washington’s birthday is an incredibly well-known and unofficial holidaythat is also known as Washington’s Day. In the late 1870s, it was made a federal holiday. Congress adopted the Uniform Monday Day Holiday Act.
Meteor storms
Every year it is observed that the Earth revolves in the solar system. This causes a flood of tiny meteors to be released into space. They are visible from anywhere in the sky. Certain showers are more spectacular than others. It is generally the nighttime time to watch.
